I Just Can't Say That Word

This arts and health project was a collaboration between artists Mayu Kanamori and Vic McEwan, exploring Mayu’s diagnosis and treatment for Breast Cancer, positioning herself as an artist rather than a patient.

During this process Mayu and Vic kept a blog and undertook a two week residency at Sydney University in May 2017 to explore the diverse material they have created during this ongoing medical process.
